Dear Families!
My name is Pa Houa Lee and I am happy to welcome your child to the second grade Hmong Dual Language class at Jackson Elementary. We will start building our classroom community the first day of school. We will work hard together to make our classroom a welcoming place where we work hard, play, and celebrate our successes together.
For students to be successful, students, parents and teachers need to work together. I would like for you to bring your child and family to come to the open house at the beginning of the year so we can get to know each other. Please feel free to stop in our classroom at anytime during the school year so you can see your child at work. I would also like to invite you to come and share some of your expertise with us.
Students will have homework from Monday through Friday in both English and Hmong. Some homework will require parent signatures and/or involvement. Please ask your child to see his/her homework every night.
