Dear Jackson Families,

I am looking forward to seeing your family at Jackson this fall.  You and your family are in good hands here.  Thank you for trusting us with your children; we will work hard to serve them well.

If you ever have any questions or concerns, please call me.  It is my job to make sure that your children receive the best education in a warm and safe environment.

I hope you will become involved in school this year by joining your children’s class for special events and field trips, participating in community celebrations and events, attending the performances and book publishings that show our students’ talents, and by attending the parent roundtable meetings where you advise me as the principal on ways to improve our service to you.

Our first event is a Parent/Teacher Goal-Setting Conference (during our Open House); these conferences will be Thursday, August 28^th, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. Teachers will be learning about your child and getting to know you.

Enclosed is a copy of the “Goal-Setting Conference” questions, the Welcome Back Letter from your children’s teacher, and the school supply list for each classroom.

Bus information should be mailed the week of August 25^th.  Please keep your address and phone number up-to-date to ensure correct busing.
