I
am Mrs. Vue, the First Grade Hmong Dual Language teacher. We will learn to
read, write, sing, and of course speak Hmong everyday. We will cover
many exciting themes with a Hmong Culture piece embedded in them. Although we will mainly be learning how to read and write in Hmong in First Grade, our students will have many opportunities to use and build English skills throughout the day. Our hope is that when our students graduate from Jackson, they will be proficient in both English and Hmong. I am
ecstatic about the many neat programs at Jackson. Thank you for
entrusting your child in me this year. I know that with your
encouragement and the support of the talented staff, great things will
