| KASPcrew Welcome to the KASPcrew's web page! The KASPcrew includes four girls name Kabao, Anh, See and Padah. We are working on a project called eCyberMission. In the beginning of our project each girl came up with ideas for the
problem that we would be trying to solve. We decided in doing a
research about Scheffer not being diverse enough. Scheffer is a recreation center in our neighborhood, Frogtown. We were all intrested
in that topic so we soon started our mission.
Each girl contributed to our project. We broke up into two pairs to come up with two surveys, a parent survey and a student survey. Padah and Anh made the parent surveys, while See and Kabao made the student surveys. Padah soon made a survey for the kids that go to Scheffer Rec. and Anh helped See and Kabao to come up with questions that was easy for the 3rd and 4th graders to understand.
While two of our members, Padah and See were busy working, Anh and Kabao made graphs showing the responses about Scheffer. After they were done, all of us went to talk about who can go to Scheffer and tally how many ethnic groups and kids who go there. Kabao, See, and Padah was available to go to Scheffer.
After school ended, since Anh couldn't go, Kabao, See and Padah went to Scheffer to tally how people came to scheffer that day. On Saturday, only Padah and Kabao went to Scheffer to tally the kids who came there that day but Scheffer was close so they came back. On Sunday, again, only Padah and Kabao went to Scheffer but it was not open that day too. We will go again on Monday and Tuesday to tally the kids who are there.
We found out that if we go to Scheffer to tally the kids during the school hours, there were not that many kids so Padah and Kabao decided to go to Scheffer around 5:00-5:30pm.
See, Padah, Kabao, and Anh are still working on our mission folders. We are done writing in our mission folder but not done putting some pictures of scheffer in it yet,so right now we are still trying to up load some pictures onto the mission folder. Now since we got some survey's from the student and parent's back and got some survey's from the student's at scheffer back we are putting the information that we know/got into a pie graph.
We will submit our mission folder after we finish uploading pictures of Scheffer. We are now almost finish with our project and will just be waiting for the results from the judging of the eCyberMission judges.
